Testosterone Replacement Therapy

Testosterone is a hormone produced primarily in the testicles which helps maintain men’s bone density, fat distribution, muscle mass, facial and body hair, sex drive, sperm production, and more. As you age, your testosterone level gradually declines.

Testosterone replacement therapy, otherwise known as TRT, can improve the signs and symptoms of low testosterone in men.

Am I a good candidate?

If you’re experiencing the below symptoms, a consultation with RegenMD Wellness Clinic, including lab analysis to check your hormone levels, can get you started with testosterone replacement therapy.

Be sure to thoroughly discuss all your medical concerns during your appointment to ensure you’re receiving the right advice.

What causes low testosterone?

While the most common cause of low testosterone is age—about a 1% per year reduction in testosterone levels beginning at the age of 30—there are other possible causes as well. Injury to the testes, certain medications—like opioids or steroids—and some conditions like metabolic disorders or inflammatory diseases can contribute to low testosterone. How can you tell if you have a testosterone imbalance?
