Step-By-Step Instructions

Injection Tutorial

1

Preparing For Your Injection

Before injecting, please be sure to wash your hands thoroughly, gather all of your necessary supplies. *Store peptide vials in the refrigerator when not in use.*

2

Clean the Injection Site

Before injecting medication, inspect your skin to make sure there’s no bruising, burns, swelling, or hardness in the area. *Rotate injection sites to avoid scarring or irritation.*

3

Check Your Vial

Inspect your peptide vial carefully to confirm that you have the correct medication, dosage, and that the vial has not expired. *Always use a new, unused syringe.*

4

Draw Your Dosage

Clean the top of the vial with an alcohol wipe, insert the syringe needle with the vial tilted upwards, and slowly pull back until you have reached your prescribed dosage.

5

Prep Your Syringe

Turn the syringe right-side up, and tap it repeatedly to bring air bubble to the top of the chamber. Push plunger up slightly to expel the air bubble until a tiny droplet appears.

6

Insert the Needle

Clean the injection site with an alcohol wipe and insert the needle directly into the skin. *See below for details on Intramuscular vs. Subcutaneous injections.*

7

Inject the Medication

Inject the medication by gently pushing on the plunger, depressing slowly until all the fluid is injected and the hub reaches the top of the syringe.

8

Removal and Aftercare

Carefully remove the needle, recap the syringe, and dispose of it in a puncture-safe bag. Apply pressure to the injection site with an alcohol wipe and/or clean cotton pad.

Subcutaneous (SubQ) Injections

For SubQ injections, gently pinch the skin to create a small fold, then insert the needle at a 45-degree angle into the fatty tissue.
